1. Once you are logged in through SSO, navigate to Meetings. It may be the default homepage that opens when you login on the web. |
2. To schedule a meeting, locate the but titled the same. Click Schedule a Meeting.

3. Type a name for the meeting that is generic, such as "Guest Speaker". You can add a description if you like.

4. Since you are creating a template, you will not select anything from this menu. Note: this is where your template can be selected to be used once created. |
5. You are scheduling a meeting at the same time as creating the template. Select an appropriate date and time. Do NOT select recurring. Note: Date & Time do not transfer to the template. |
6. Disable registration Enable Meeting ID: Generate Automatically |
7. Enable Passcode and customize it in the text box. Enable the Waiting Room |
8. The default audio and video settings should be Both and On. These can remain set at the default. |
9. Enable Mute participants upon entry and Automatically record meeting On the local computer. Disable Enable join before host and Only authenticated users can join. Breakout rooms depend on you! |
10. You can add other educators as Alternative Hosts that are within the CISD domain. It is NOT recommended that an external guest be an alternative host. |
11. Click Save.Â

12. You can review the meeting settings and make any changes as needed. Scoll to the bottom of the form and click Save as a Meeting Template. |
13. Name the template and click Save as Template.Â

14. To view the scheduled meeting and access your templates, navigate to the main Meetings menu.Â

15. Click on Meeting Templates and you should see your Guest Speaker template at the top of the list!

16. If you were to go back and click the Schedule a Meeting button again, you would also now see the Guest Speaker template available in the template drop down menu. That's it! You're done. |
