1. The first step to create a new quiz question is to open the course Homepage and click Grades. |
2. Click Quizzes. |
3. Click the arrow next to the appropriate quiz. |
4. Click Edit. |
5. Click Create New. |
6. Click New Question. |
7. Click the type of question you want to add. In this case click Matching. |
8. Click the Title Box if you would like to create an identifying title for the question. |
9. Set the point value of the question. |
10. Set the difficulty level of the question. |
11. If you want to use an image as part of your question, click Insert an Image. |
12. Upload the desired image. |
13. Click Equally Weighted if each item is worth the same points. |
14. Click All or Nothing if no partial credit is given. |
15. Click Right Minus Wrong if students are penalized for wrong answers. |
16. Click Choice 1 to add the first item to be matched. This can be formatted text, images, links, etc. |
17. Click Choice 2 to add the next item to be matched. This can be formatted text, images, links, etc. Continue as necessary. |
18. Click Add Choice to add additional choices. |
19. Click Match 1 to add the first item to be matched. This can be formatted text, images, links, etc. |
20. Click Match 2 to add the next item to be matched. This can be formatted text, images, links, etc. Continue as necessary. |
21. Â Click Add Match to add additional options. |
22. Click the Question Hint Box if you would like to provide a hint. |
23. Click the Question Feedback Box if you would like to provide standard feedback for the question. |
24. Click Preview to see how the question will appear to students. |
25. Matches are randomized when taking the question. After reviewing the question click Done. |
26. If needed, Matches can be reassigned to different Choices. |
27. When finished editing the question, click Save. That's it. You're done! |
