1. The first step to grading quizzes manually (for essay or short answers) is to open the Course Homepage and click Grades.

2. Click Quizzes
|
|
3. Click the arrow next to the appropriate quiz.
|
|
4. Click Grade
|
|
5. Scroll down and click the Attempt under the first student you want to grade.
|
|
6. Scroll down to the first question, read the answer, and click Score to enter or change a grade.
|

7. Scroll down and click Score to grade each question.Â
|
|
8. When finished, click Publish to send grades to the Grade Book or click Save Draft to save information you want to come back to.Â
|
|
9. Click User in the upper right corner to go to the next learner's quiz.
|
|
10. Scroll down and click Score to grade each question. Repeat for each student.
|
|
11. To add indiviudal feedback on a question, click the box under Feedback and type in your comments.
|
|
12. Click Publish or Save Draft for each student.
|
|
13. When finished grading, click Back in the upper left corner to return to the Quiz Page. That's it. You're done. |
