1. This tutorial will show you how to release the final grades if your students cannot see them. Notice that you currently have the eye with the line through it showing that your students cannot see the final grade.Â

2. The first thing to do, is check that you can see all of the students at once. You may need to change the view options at the bottom. If there are too many students to see all at once, you may need to repeat this entire process on multiple pages.Â

3. Click the drop-down menu on the final grade column.Â
|
4. Click Enter Grades.Â
|
5. Click the top box to put a check mark there to select all students.Â
|
6. All of your students are now chosen. Click the Release/Unrelease button.Â
|
7. On the right end of the page, you will see that every student has a check mark under the released column. (You may need to click the Zoom Out icon below in order to see that column in this tutorial.) Click Save and Close to save your changes.Â

8. Click Yes to save your changes.

9. Now notice how your column has an open eye. The students should now be able to see their final grades. |
10. If this process does not seem to work, check to make sure you have chosen to automatically release final grade in your Setup Wizard. Click Setup Wizard in your secondary navigation menu.Â

11. Scroll down to the bottom of the Setup Wizard summary and click Start.Â
|
12. Make any changes you would like to and click Continue at the bottom of the page. You need to check the settings on the second step.Â

13. On the second step, put a checkmark in the box that says Automatically release final grade. .Â

14. Click Continue.Â
|
15. Go through the rest of the Setup Wizard, making any changes you desire as you go along. When you are done with the Setup Wizard, the seventh step will give you a summary of what you have picked. Scroll down to the bottom and click Finish.Â

16. Now go back to the beginning of the tutorial, and go through the steps to release the final grade again. This tutorial has taught you how to release/unrelease the final grade to students. That's it! You're done! |
