1. Scroll down and click Hall Passes in the Manager menu

2. Click Blackout Schedules
|
3. Click Add new
|
4. Type Name
|
5. Type Description (optional)
|
6. Schools can only have one default schedule. Click Update
|
7. Scroll down and click Expand
|
8. Click Add time
|
9. Add the times that hall passes CANNOT be issues during this schedule. For example, enter the first and last 10 minutes of each class period on your bell schedule.

10. Type EndTime
|
11. Select the hall passes that will be affected by this blackout time.

13. To include ALL passes, leave the selector box empty.
|
14. Click Update
|
15. Scroll down and click Add time to add more times
|
16. Click Collapse
|
17. Click Upcoming Dates to manage the calendar and when the schedules are applied.
|
18. The default schedule will be applied to ALL dates unless edited. Click the calendar edit button for the specific date you want to change.
|
19. Change the blackout schedule for the date.
|
20. Click Update
|
21. Click the disable button to remove a date from the blackout schedule.
|
22. Click back
|
23. Click Settings
|
24. You can allow your users to override blackout schedules with this setting enabled.
|
25. Scroll up and click Hall Passes
|
26. Click Other
|
27. Click Blackout Times
|
28. All users with access to Hall Passes can view the blackout schedule for the current day here. That's it, you're done! |
