How to use a phone SMS text for accessing Ringling resources

Items needed for the install
  • Phone with SMS text abilities
  • Desktop browser
  • Internet access
2. The first step to setup phone authentication is login to the Okta dashboard using a desktop browser at https://cloud.ringling.edu.

Enter your Ringling Username and Password then click the Sign in button.

3. From the top right-hand side click the down arrow icon to expand the menu.

4. Choose Settings.

5. Navigate to the Security Methods section and to the right of Phone click the Set up button.

6. If Prompted, reenter your password and click Verify.

7. Click Set up.

8. Click SMS.

9. Enter your Phone number.

10. Click Receive a code via SMS.

11. Enter the received code and then click Verify.

12. You should see an alert box on your dashboard that your phone has been been successfully enrolled.
That's it your done. You should now be able to authenticate and use your Ringling resources.
